Splitter on the day socket for a timer strip?

I already have the digital timer strip box from Zilla for lighting control but I'm wondering would it be ok to attach a 2 port grounded outlet extender to one of the day sockets so I could run three lights on the day timer. One basking one strip uvb 10.0 HO and one led light for just lighting the cool side. Just don't want it to short out or something.

It's not the best idea to daisy chain like that. I would set up a separate mechanical timer for one of the lights and plug that into a wall outlet directly.
