Spike jumped and had a bad landing

Something startled spike while he was on my should and I was sitting on the couch he ran over the armrest and to the end table where he slid off and hit the linoleum (sp?) floor by the front door. He kinda landed on his head and got right back up and he seems fine. I put him in his viv to relax after the spill, but what should I watch for to know if something is wrong?? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

The table is about 2 ft tall maybe 2 and a half.

If he hasn't been acting strangely or showing any weird marks, I wouldn't worry too much...just keep a close eye on him and take him to the vet immediately if something seems wrong, even if it's little.

Sorry to hear little Spike had a bad fall like that. Just watch for any behavioral changes, loss or marked decrease of appetite, loss of balance, etc. He will probably be fine, but, just keep a close eye on him.
