Spending literally 24/7 in his hide

I got Milo this large rock basking spot that also has a little hide for him inside. I intended to use this at the cool side but as of now, it's his main basking spot since his temporary cage is a bit higher, therefore he needs this to bask properly. Here's the problem though... Milo started brumation around March, and slept almost for a solid 2 months. He started waking up a bit here and there around May, but for the past couple of weeks has gone back into his hide and just stays there ALL day. He comes out maybe 3 times a week to eat some pellets, poop, and then heads right back in. Everytime I've checked in on him, he's always awake though so I don't think he's going back into brumation. I don't know what he's doing in there and I'm not sure if I should be stopping him?
I don't know if it's because he's technically "basking" since the heat is coming right through his rock, therefore he never has to move to get heat, or if he's not feeling well maybe? He still eats, poops, and looks healthy so I don't think that's the reasoning. I'm unsure if I should block off his hide and force him to stay out, or if that would stress him out more. My biggest fear is that he's not getting any source of UVB lighting since he's staying in the dark all the time, so I don't want him getting too lethargic. What are your thoughts?

Hi there....how long was he active and eating in between the end of his brumating and now ? If he had a good solid month or more then you might let him hang out in there another couple of weeks but no more. Then it would be good to block it off until at least early evening, that way he can still go in it if he wants and fall asleep for the night. By the way, the pellets are O.K for snacks, but he'd get much better nutrition if he's given a good variety of greens + squash instead.

What type of thermometer are you using and what are the basking surface temp, ambient and cool side? Also what brand and type of UVB do you have and how old is the bulb? Coud you pst pics of Milo and the setup?

He was awake for about a month or so, then at the beginning of this month was getting sleepy again. He eats completely fine and has a great appetite, which he didn't during brumation... So I don't think he's wanting to brumate again? I'm just unsure why he stays inside the hide all day though. It could be due to it being heated, and I'm sure it stayed nice and toasty in there. Maybe that was his reasoning for hiding all the time, since he was remaining warm all the time?
And trust me, I've made so many posts here about his veggie problems. The pellets were the only thing that would work. Unless he swallows a vegetable whole (things like green beans or anything that resembles a worm) and doesn't actually bite into or tastes them, he will not touch them. Even after brumation, where he went 9 weeks without food, he STILL refused vegetables. He physically spits them out. I hate that I have to resort to pellets but it's not worth the stress of force feeding him vegetables everyday.

Also, @diamc, I have a Reptisun 10.0 UVB that was just replaced a few days ago. I use a prob thermometer for his temps. Cool side usually stays around 78-83F and hot side is 90-95 with the basking being from 105-110F. It was getting to 115F when the basking rock was under it but I rearranged his cage so now its getting about 107F on average.

Also, I took him out of his hide and bathed him yesterday, and he ate some worms, drank water, and everything was normal. He did spend all day today in the same spot he fell asleep though, which is on the cool end. He tends to do this quite often, not really move much some days, but it's become more of a constant thing with him. He will be 4 years old in a few weeks, so he's really not that old. Not sure why he's so groggy and lazy lately. :/

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
