Sores/Rubbed scales raw.

My poor MBD baby has been propelling himself around with his back legs, and has given himself a sore on both hind legs, and where they rub against the rough edge of his tail.
I can't get a clear picture, but the vet has confirmed before that what i thought was scale rot on the top of his front feet, was just rubbing from him walking weird. I've since corrected that walking problem, and its healed, but now i find this.
I have no way of correcting this problem, since he just can't walk correctly right now, and was wondering how to help it heal.
Should i sanitize it and put a small band-aid over the area to prevent more rubbing?

Poor little guy. Yeah you can use some unpasteurized honey on the area to help it heal and to protect it. You can cover the area loosely with a bandaid as well to help prevent further aggravation.

He has another vet visit a week from now, so hopefully the vet will be able to give us a better idea of what it is. The ones on his legs almost seem like callouses, but the others are more raw looking.
I just hope it is nothing bad.
