oh wow! thats weird, luckily you got to them before they go too cold!

You could put a divider down the middle, and just get an extra basking spot, that way they both have a 3ft cage!

Just take it slowly, a partition is just a bit of wood screwed it, just because its a home made viv dosnt mean we cant alter it to fit your new situation! :D

You can go to the DIY shop and get little plastic joiners called 'lazy blocks im told, used to fit two flat sides together its just a screw here, a screw there and your done!

they really should be separated just because one pair made it successfully doesnt mean they were happy.
But happy for your gain anyway.

yea its not just one pair and if they were not happy that means there stressed and hardly ever had stress marks. Also i been on some links on this site loads of people keep them on sand and your not ment to and i saw some1 had 5 dragons in one 4foot tank i have 2 in a 6foot tank my mates dad has 2in a tank so does my local pet store has 2 in a tank and has been for years. Everything is so diff from the us to the uk with dragons. I have never seen a dragon in a tank with another and didnt like it. Its just like every person or animal or reptile etc we fight we love we get along.

My babies really fight and don't get along had to get a divider.....I don't want a dragon with half a tail....they also get jealous if I have them both out at the same time...I think it all depends on the dragon...Maybe if they are from the same clutch they would be ok? I don't know I wouldn't recommend it from my experience....My little baby had stress marks like crazy until I split the small cage. Now they are fine, just getting ready to move to the new viv...well one of them.

There eating so well to well lucky i got 2 boxes of crickets lol they had a box each earlyer lol

So sorry about Koby.

I have a bearded dragon named Foster, who got his leg bitten off by a clutchmate when he was 4 weeks old. My bearded dragon named Brady, got his leg bitten off by a clutch mate when he was a couple of months old. (they both happened before I had them)

Agreed. Doesn't make sense to me either.. and seems as though many of us are confused. "i hope they are going to be ok together i no i cant and not ment to keep them together but i have no other choice ?" If you can't afford another tank, the best thing to do is to give one of them up. You just lost one dragon, why risk loosing another?

i only want help coz there babys. Not because i have 2 in a tank they will be fine bodi will prove it give it 4 years and i will prove all of you wrong.but if every1 is going to be silly and say silly stories then i will go somewhere els. I dont no anyone who has a problem where i am and i no atleast 20people who have more than one dragon in a tank and there fine. Oh and if your talking about advice then dont listen to anyone coz i have had to dragons i have done everything people have told me the best lights, heat, food, and they where both on tiles and there both dead so dont listen to anything people say on hear its alot of junk. Then again its the us !

Well now thats just not true. I am from the UK and have followed advice, and suggested it to people here in the UK also. I have the healthiest beardy my vet has ever seen, and have helped many people in my area nurse ill beardies back to life. If your so against the advice just please dont come anymore. Have you thought it may have been due to a genetic defect??

As for the OP the choice is yours at the end of the day, we are just passing on information that comes from years of raising beardies. As a responsible owener you should know the signs of dominance, and not misread them as being cute and cuddling together. Also be prepaired to get another set up some time in the future, and either insure both or have a hefts pot of money should they need vet care from fighting injuries. We can only pass on our experiences (both UK and US i might add) and i urge you to do some research first. There have been many more people recently loosing beardies due to dominance, which could have been avoided, but if your adamant that you are right so be it.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
