Soon to be newbie from Utah-BD

We are doing a ton of research before we finally take the plunge! Our 6 yr son has been asking for one for a while now. We looked at one at Petco and they let my son play with the BD. I have read that it is better to get one from a breeder rather than a pet store. I am not sure why that is though. I look forward to meeting people here and learning from you all.

Most people like breeders because the offer more info on the bds blood line and most pet stores dont test for diseases
