soon to be beardie owner

Hi, I'll be getting a Beardie in the next 3 to 4 months, and wanted to make sure i know what i'm doing before hand (any pet deserves that). This sounds like a great place that I can pick peoples brains for info on beardies. any advice is welcome!

I love you for what you just said lol! I wish more owners researched than bought. Instead of the other way around.
It sounds like you've done this before. Do you have any other pets?

Got 2 kitties and an Australian Shepherd. Very excited about getting a beardie (the husband said no to a tarantula and a ball python, so when i brought up beardies he gave in!). I have to get some hip surgery done in the next few months, and I also didn't want to get a beardie before i'm fully recovered from that. but the recovery time will give me plenty of time to study and learn. thanks for the reply!
