something to hold Light fixtures inside of tanks

I have 2 40 gallon tanks in which I havev some wal-mart bought light fixture for the long tube t8 light bulbs... I have them now using velcro and they tend to fall after a few days since I guess the stickyness goes away! I wanted to know if anyone else has another way to stick these light fixture to the inside of the tank on the glass so that they dont keep falling! I am going crazy because I have to press the light fixture so that it can stick on again.

Any help will be VERY MUCH appreciated!

what kind of velcro are you using? i use the industrial strength stuff and haven't had any issues. also, you'll want to make sure the glass is clean before applying the adhesive.

I do clean the glass before I put it but I don't havev industrial strength velcro so that might be a big factor! I found some of the industrial strength velcro around me but its a lot of velcro and it is expensive!

I use 3M double sided tape..WORKS LIKE A CHARM..it'll run you about $6
