I really want to help him, but I just got my baby Sheldon an I have no more room or money for him!

There is no way on this planet that his spine is like that from "breeding."

I have a male bearded dragon, proven breeder, 5 years old, for sale for $40
he is a bit beat up from breeding but is a great breeder and a great eater, i need him gone asap

Poor little guy. I will post this on the Facebook page of the RRUS (Reptile Rescuers of the US) and see what everyone thinks and if we have anyone in that area that can ask him to surrender. We are a non-profit so we cannot purchase reptiles, but we can discuss surrender with the owner.

Oh my god. This person is a nutjob if he thinks he can get $40 for that poor thing. Scrawny, messed up spine, and is that some kind of abscess on his head? And to think, these people were trying to BREED dragons. People like that make me want to puke!

Becky, please let us know if the rescue is able to take him in... My fingers are crossed!

Oh jeez... I would love to be able to just swoop in and get this guy.

If I became a millionaire, guess what I'd do?

What is he trying to breed him with an alligator? Seriously I think he stepped in over his head and instead of admitting his mistake he blames "breeding." But then if the female is not interested in the male they are not going to breed. She is going to kick the crap out of him especially if she is bigger. If I lived in cali I would give him the 40 for the little guy, just to give him a better home. Also if I rescued every animal I felt bad for I would have a zoo and need a full time staff.

I hear ya there... Hence millionaire dream... ok let's not stop there, multi-millionaire (and yes become the rescue's biggest donor)

I'd say billionaire! Im not an expert on breeding, but it could not have all happened from that!
I really want to but my parents barely let me get Sheldon. Needless to say, when I showed them the ad it was out of the question. :(

I am an hour away but sadly cannot take him. That large abscess looks like a brain tumor from a medical standpoint and I am not ready for that and all the thousands of dollars in vet bills. If it did not have that abscess I would take it.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
