Some Q's on breeding dubia roaches

After my last two orders of crickets from fluker's died within a week of getting them (after costing $30 each!!) I decided I'm done with the crickets. They stink, they're semi-noisy.... I want to move on to dubia roaches. I've done a bit of research on breeding dubia colonies so I have a few questions if anyone is willing to answer!

(1) I bought a starter kit from a place called Shannon Brimmer's. It comes with the plastic bin to keep them in and everything. I also bought one last round of 500 crickets so that I won't need to go into the roaches enclosure... is this is a good idea? He's going to need food in the mean time and no way am I spending 10 cents to get pesticide sprayed crickets from the local PetSmart! I read in a different thread that I shouldn't go in the enclosure while they're mating because it stresses out the roaches.
(2) how long does it normally take until they start breeding?
(3) other than making sure they have food and water capsule thingys, do I actually need to DO anything to ensure that they breed? When they begin breeding, how do I get the babies out to feed to my beardie without disturbing the mating adult ones?
(4) from one starter colony, will I get enough babies to sustain my little guy. I give him veggies but he's only 5 month's old so he currently will eat about 20-30 crickets in a day.
(5) I can dust the roaches with calcium and vitamin powder just like I do the crickets, correct?
(6) My last one-- thanks for baring with me! This one pertains more to crickets. I read that you can freeze them. Would it be a good idea to do this so that less will die? If so, any tips on how to go about the process of freezing them?

Thanks for any responses!! :D

Some of your questions can't be answered because you never mentioned how large the starter colony is.

1. Buy more crickets..... you're gonna have to do that for a few more months so you can leave the roaches and let them grow.
2. They will breed right away if left undisturbed and provided with the right heat, food, and humidity
3. See #2
4.most likely no, but it depends on your colony size
5. Crickets will die when you freeze them. This is more of a preserving method

5) (which i think the person above me skipped). yes you can dust them in calcium, but only right before feeding them to your beardie. you cant dust them and leave them as is, in the bin

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
