Socializing... HELP!

So I'm rescuing an adult beardie, who is severely mistreated, from my local pet store.

However, I already have an adult (I've had her for a year) and I don't know how to go about socializing them once the rescue has some rehab and tlc.

Any tips/ways to socialize?

Don't. Beardies are solitary animals and shouldn't be housed together or even be together too often. Only rare meetings are ok, and even then it doesn't make either beardie happy or anything.

They won't be housed together, opposite sides of the room actually. I just need to be able to have them both out at the same time and keep an eye on them. I figured it would be easier if they were socialized to an extent.

Also, if I weren't to socialize them, would I be able to use the same separate feeding tank? Obviously they'd be seperate, but would they smell each other in it and become territorial?

I doubt they would smell each other or anything like that. As for roaming around, there really is no way to ensure they don't fight or stress each other out, it would be best to just make sure they stay separate most of the time.

It is also best that they cannot see each other at all. The dominance thing can happen even if they see each other from across the room, causing stress for one or both dragons.

The way my room is set up they'd be able to see each other but if I covered the sides with a 'wall' paper (like a decorative background kinda thing), they wouldn't be able to. Could I do that?

Edit: if I got a table to fit both tanks would I be able to put one on the table and the other underneath?

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
