I fear that Clyde is beginning the end of his life. For several months he almost actee as if he were blind..lifting his head int he direction of sight, sound and always seemed to have smell. HE was eating, moving. Within the last week he has been twisting his body around in awkward postions, flipping onto his back and unable to right himself. He almost acts as if he has had a stroke...why not possible??? they do have brains and nervous systems..
A part of me would like to euthanize him but 1.) I don't know how and 2.) I hope I am wrong. His "partner in crime", Bonnie is also aging but she has a bit more vigor and a definate appetite.
Both are 11 yrs old. Any ideas???Strange how we love these little critters....
