SO MAX DECIDES TO EAT MY HAIR

(almost sure its a he, but i'm skeptical.) he kinda climes to my shoulders and decides to try my hair in his mouth. as of right now he is snugged atop my chest but he still tries it! i think it could harm him if he swallows it but he hasn't yet. so heres my question:
is there something wrong with his eating for him to try to eat my hair, or is it normal?

It's fairly common for them to want to climb on top of people's heads and get into their hair. Sometimes they will bit at the hair too. It's best that they don't eat it. It will usually pass but can cause complications.

Falkor my young beardie has also gotten into the habit of trying to eat my hair. It doesn't help I have really long hair to begin with!

My Old Little Buddy Poe(RIP), When he was young and I had extremely long hair he would hide in it or perch on my head for heat and sometimes try to eat it as well, Of course I never let him swallow his "snack". He really liked just hanging out in it.

He quit doing after good long while(6 months+), and never tried to eat any hair again after that.

It's quite common for bearded dragons to love being around hair. My beardie loves climbing onto my head, nestling into my hair, getting tangled in my hair, and tries to eat my hair. Whenever she gets close to my hair, I try to have it brushed back out of her way first, but sometimes she'll keep climbing onto my shoulder and lick the air near where my hair is. There must be something about the aroma or feel of hair that attracts bearded dragons. My beardie is hair-crazy. Once she's on top of my head though, she doesn't try to go after my hair, just sits up there and enjoys the view and the warmth coming from my head. I do try to prevent her from eating at my hair, since it will not be good if she ingested any. Just watch your bearded dragon closely and try to keep your hair out of its way whenever possible.
