Bender is doing good he doesn't seem to be growing much to me but then I see him all the time.
I just measured him and his is now 6-1/2 inches long or should I say 6-1/2 inches tiny. :lol:
I had a very nice quiet country Halloween with my beardies.
We don't get any trick or treater's other than grandchildren.

It's hard to imigine you with grandkids. I know we are the same age, but 'cause my oldest is 8 and youngest 4, it doesn't compute. Keith and I celabrate our 25 anniversery on the 19th, so I know in theory I could be a grandmom. I just don't feel old enough. I hope you don't feel old enough either! :lol: :lol:

You know Sandy I only feel old when I look in the mirror.
I don't know that old lady that I see in the mirror I still feel like the same person I always was.

I love being a grandmother it doesn't make me feel old at all......only that freakin' mirror does. :laughing6:

I have a couple of pic's of my youngest grandson with his daddy(my 22 year old son Rodger)in his Halloween costume that I'm going to post in Katherine's thread so she can see my little cutie.

The place we owned before this one had a HUGE mirror on the wall in the living room which I couldn't avoid seeing. That's one thing I DON'T miss about that place.

It's funny how when we were younger the mirror was like our best friend now it's our enemy. :lol:

I thought I'd update Baby Bender's thread with some new pic's of this little guy.
He seems very small for 2 months to me. He is only 7 inches long but he is much thicker.
Notice the thickness of his legs and tail in comparison of when he hatched.

This pic is just hours after hatching he didn't look very good really didn't think
he would make it.

This was the day after hatching looking much better but had very thin legs.

The rest of these pic's are from the past few days. Notice he has gotten thicker.

The next 2 pic's aren't that good but couldn't help but to share I thought they were so cute.

Just for size comparison this is a small apple.

Hmmm.....is that a roach I see?

Photos are so so cute...............still love the little house. I may have mentioned - used to live in New York City and can't do roaches. Sandy gets phoenix, silkies and crickets - but know roaches are very popular with BD owners (and eaters). She's only 5 months old and a few silkies have grown gigantic in the past 2 weeks -- so no matter what I read, am afraid she'll choke --- wish there was an adult BD in the neighborhood to donate some dinner. Still haven't read up on how to send email photos --------busy just watching Sandy...kinda Zen.
I have a few photos of her standing on her hind legs with arms on the driftwood looking like a guy at a bar.

Don't worry Barbara, he's getting the best care any beardie could ask for. I'm sure he'll hit a growth spurt soon! Dexter is about 4 months and a little past two months he hit a huge growth spurt!

it won't be my only small beardie. :lol:
All that really matters is that he is healthy.
An if you look at that fat little tail he's lookin' pretty healthy.
He hammers the food and is now eating his salads too.
I've always like miniature things...well some things. :mrgreen:

He is a victim of a mother that was over medicated while gravid so I feel lucky to even have him.
I will love him no matter what.

Hi Barbara,

Bender is looking very well and the growth definitely shows in your pictures! I wouldn't worry about size either. Tweezie did not grow at all in her first month, but was active, eating and pooping very well, so I didn't worry. She started growing very slowly after that, and is at 7 1/4 inches, 14 grams today, very small for 3 1/2 months. She has clutchmates 10 to 11 1/2 inches and 100 grams, (Monet) and the third clutch also has passed her in size, but she is the biggest spitfire in the bunch! Little, but, OH MY! :laughhard: Sounds like the same is true of Bender! :laughing6: I'll try to add a little more to Tweezie's thread tonight.
