So Irritated! Wasted $17

Ok so I ordered Scarlett some wax worms as a little treat.. Well apparently I didn't get the memo that these things r huge! They r like twice the size of the distance bt her eyes... I wasn't able to choose a size either... Ugh! So I've wasted $17... Ok just had to vent :x lol

Can you not chop them in half so they fit, means you get twice as much for your money too lol

where did you order from? I have never gotten wax worms that were that big.

Wax worms are soft and squishy, so they cant really impact them. The "between the eyes" rule doesnt really apply with soft bodied worms (It applies more to width than length)... I mean, look at the size of some of the horn worms that beardies will devour! Even super worms are much bigger than between their eyes.

Do you think they are really that freakishly massive, or do they just seem that way cause Scarlet is so teeny tiny? I remember that when I had baby Wink, those things seemed HUGE. But now, compared to the worms Dudley usually eats, they are never big enough. :roll:

Well im comparing them to her medium sized reptiworms and they are really big compared to those..

I bought some from Petsmart and they were the same size as my phoenix worms (same as reptiworms).

I understand what you guys mean about things seeming bigger because the lizard is small. I used to think adult crickets were huge... now Puff is huge and the crickets seem like nothing. lol

I spent $45.00 on crickets once, and they were all dead after 2 days yeah... I was pissed! lol I understand

A good King worm works great for Meadow when I can get them. I find they also seem to fill her better then crickets.
