So I'm consdering a Dubia Colony setup

Yep.My story's the same as everyone else's.Tired of Crickets like everyone else,blah blah blah.
But I've afew questions for those raising them:

1. How many is it best to start out with?
2. I know they'll eat anything you put in front of them,but in terms of diet,what are the main focuses,like protein,calcium,etc?
3. How often do you change the egg crates they live on?
4. If the colony gets too large(LOL), what are my options living in MS,like trading,etc?
5. In your opinion(s),what are the top Dubia breeders to buy from out there?

2. Protein is the main focus, avoid calcium if possible, you'll be dusting them anyhow for your beardie(cricket water with calcium in them isn't good)
3. For a new colony about every month and a half to 2 months, depends on how many you started with. I started with roughly 250 and didn't touch them for almost 2 months and it was just fine, they are in my room and didn't have a smell until I stuck my head in the bin while cleaning.
4.If you have an equivalent to craigslist you can start there, you can post in the for sale section here, or go to a local reptile shop is what I do and give them my overcount. I love watching their beardies go to town.
5. I bought from the Roach Guy, there is Roach Ranch and Phat Phibs for commercial breeders. Check out people here on the site too for comparable prices.
