Ok I get home from work, usual time and I begin my usual routine with Iggy... As soon as I walk up to his tank I notice him curled up inside his hide instead of basking.

I remove everything from his tank like I normally do to clean, while I drop a few crickets in with him for dinner. he ate his normal amount of crickets right away and I had left about 6 small mealies for him to nibble on while I was at work along with some fresh dandelion greens and carrot leaves with some shredded butternut squash but it didn't look like he had even touched it.

He drank some water while I dropped in on his head and about 30min later I took him out for some attention but I wasn't able to hold him! he was trying to jump all over the place including off of me, onto my couch and even tried jumping off onto the floor. (I worry about this because I have 2 very curious cats)
I tried to be persistant and calm him down by holding him, cupping him in my hands, even rubbing his chin but he just kept trying to frantically jump off me. he usually very calm! he has been since the first day I brought him home

I did this for about 10-15 min then put him back, as I put him he jumped up onto his log then straight into the glass, ran around like crazy, then stopped in the corner of his tank and had a very watery stool, almost looks like a clear mucus, no brown or black at all however I could still make out a small amount of the white uric acid...

He seems to be acting totally fine right now basking on his log as I sit here freaking out, the devil!!

My husbandry is all correct, correct temps, and the right lighting.

the squash is new to him, and so are the leaves from the tops of carrots but like I said I don't think he has touched any of that.

Only thing that worried me is the mealies which he has been eating for the last couple of weeks and loving them! he has been pooing every single day including the one he did some time earlier today before this little freak out.

Anything I should be concearned about here???

His freaking out was most likely because he had to poo. Oscar doesn't like to poo in his tank and has a fit if not let out to go. As for the watery stool, just keep an eye on it. Sometimes the next poo is fine and there is no need to worry.

Hi there,
At that age they are still very very skittish and excitable.
Im really suprised she has been so calm with you up to now.
Its perfectly normal and not to be worried about.

LJean is quite right aswell, some dragons go crazy before they have to poop if they are not in their normal pooping spot.

Watery stool wise it could just be very hydrated. Ruben will often pass a little water with his stool if he is well hydrated.
Personally I think it might be down to the carrots.
According to (http://www.beautifuldragons.503xtreme.com/Nutrition.html) carrots should only be fed occationally and not as a staple.
Ive also had personal experience when including carrot as a staple of having dragons with upset tummies.
Try cutting down the amount of carrot and see if his bowel movements improve.

I haven't fed any carrots at all up to this point... The greens I have been using since day one was a mixture of Colard greens, and Dandelion greens, with some assorted fruit and veggies. yesterday was the first time I have introduced Kale, and some shredded raw butternut squash. But he didn't really seem to eat any of these...

He should be very well hydrated, I have been bathing him every day, and have been getting him to drink from a dropper which I have been doing pretty much every night lately. Plus he has a water dish in his tank during the day to drink from and swim in while I am not around

Did your beardie see the cat? They are naturally very scared of cats and that could have triggered the freak-out.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
