Snoring?? :shock:

Are beardies able to snore? Anyone ever hear their beardie snoring?
My grandparents are visiting and they sleep in my bedroom (where my beardie is kept) and they have told me they hear strange noises coming from his viv...My grandmother has claimed to peek at him and see/hear him snore first hand.
I have never noticed him doing this...Im concerned its not snoring but a terrible health problem lurking hidden when he is awake.

Anyone experience this?

Hello,

Well, they can make little noises when they sleep. I have never heard one "snore" before. Their glottis opens & closes when they breathe so perhaps that is what they were hearing. It can make a clicking type of noise sometimes.

I always thought that little clicking was the heat lamps cooling! I've been wondering what it is for months now. XP I don't hear it often though.

LOL....well no offense but I know my grandparents can make up some pretty crazy stories sometimes! Maybe shes just trying to be cute since shes sleeping in the same room as him. :lol:
