Smelly feces

My male beardie is letting the most smelly poops go. Is that normal? He usually poops in the bath and I've never really noticed it before. It is solid and a dab of white. I'm going to get him checked for parasites, but I wonder if his diet is wrong. Right now I am able to get organic mustard greens, dandelion greens and collards so that is pretty much his veggies. He has crickets and superworms every couple of days. Maybe its not just him, but my girl too. No couldn't be... girls never smell... :lol: Maybe they've always smelled like this and because I've usually got to clean it out of the tub I never noticed it before. Hmmm...
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

yes its best to get the poop tested, i had that problem and i found they had Coccidia.
If they are housed together i would separate them , as it spreads.
And if they are housed together they probably both have some sort of parasite.
I would get them both tested.

I was gunna write a post about this. I've been having the same problem. I just got my new beardie from the pet store about a month ago. His feces smell bad. Today was by far the worst! My boyfriend smelled it from the hall of our apt. It still reeked in the house when i came home 2 hours later. :bleick: Yep, time for the vet visit

Thanks for your replies. A sample is hard to get, since he always poops in the tub. I'll figure it out and get it into the vet. I can always tell when he's going to go, because he wiggles his back legs, so I will scoop him up and put a container under his bottom when he lets loose.

my dragos poop smells terrible :/ but we can only go next year to the vet as the vet is far away in a diff city and we don't have a car and its very coold outside :/

I would just try and get it sorted as soon as possible, they can feel ill from worms etc..

i know .. today we went to the vets but there was a sign where was written "Holidays untill 10.1.2011" or something like this, I might ask the vets on that time and get into the train with Puffs poop
