This is a small petsmart rant.
Before I knew a lot about beardies, (which I still don't know much) I bought ours from there.
I had to run there real quick to grab some feeding tongs with my kids (4 and 6) in tow. So we stopped to look at the beardies. They had 4-5 in there that I could see. Well I had to do a double take because all of them were for sure small and babies. Then I saw on top of their basking rock, was this teensie weensie little thing. This baby beardie was no bigger than my pointer finger!!! The biggest one in there was at least 3-4 times that babies size, and half the size of all the other ones!
It made me sad, and a little upset. Did they all appear healthy? yes. But do I really think thats a good Idea? NO!
Maybe I'm over reacting, but that's just not right in my opinion.(To both sell one so young/small and house them together) I asked why they would put such a small guy in there with the rest of them and they told me that he was fine because they hadn't seen any aggression.
