Hey y'all!
So, I bought a 4 month old baby boy from Lynn over at Carolina Designer Dragons (well, from her at Repticon). Anyway, I've had him for a little over a week now and he has yet to take in any greens! It's more annoying than anything because he is still young, so I'm not too worried. I'm just asking for some suggestions.
I've tried:
Throwing the feeders in it
Spraying with water
Floating bits on water
Hand feeding
Blowing the greens
Also, he is only at 9.5 inches right now and he is sixteen weeks old, which seems small to me. I know they all grow at different rates, but it is just a bit concerning . . . or am I being melodramatic? He's in a 64 quart tub right now and I am wanting to switch him over to the forty breeder and use that tub strictly for feeding, but he's still a shorty lol
Another thing, which I have blamed on him being in shed, is that he skipped a couple days of eating. He went back to eating yesterday, but he still doesn't eat as much as I've seen from other beardies in the past. He gets dubia nymphs and small crickets (both fed all veggie and fruit diet), but he normally eats about 6-8 a day. I've heard beardies eating 20+ a day and my last fella could pack them back as well. Should this be concerning?
I'll post details below about his set-up and what not because I know people will ask.
Thanks!
