small black dots on beardie

Vladimir is a 1 1/2 year old male Translucent morph. A while ago I noticed a few black speckles on his body that I did not remember always being there. I was not overly concerned because they were small, they weren't raised, they didn't seem soft, they didn't smell... so I decided to just wait and see if they disappeared with his next shed or if they changed shape over time. In the mean time he's shed and had lots of baths, but they are still there, the same as before, no bigger, no smaller. I don't know if they are just freckles or what, but I wanted to post a pic here to see if anyone can tell me what this is. He has no other symptoms.

Pretty sure they are just freckles. I've seen them before on other dragons, I even had one who had a bright orange freckle on his head.

Gail . . . .can you post a pic of yours orange freckle pleeeese, Ive found an orange dot on myne by her left ear and am wondering if they look similar. Oh and sorry for the hijack, this is just the 1st mention of an orange spot ive found since i started researching what mines could be

Sorry, I don't have pics. It was on a rescue from a couple years ago. It looked just like someone took a orange sharpie and put a dot on his head, it really stood out since he was a yellow dragon.
