Slowly loosing it :/

Im a little concerned... Nu has never been right...
she seems to like the cold and i dealt with that...
But i have noticed this last couple of months her appetite seems to be literally disappearing....
She turned 1 yesterday and its been about 3 days since she ate anything..
she will eat around 2 a week and still very little veg...that means im not getting any calcium in either :/
Any ideas?

I would say switch up her diet. Give her some colorful fruits or veggies on top of a salad. Try some strawberry, squash, grated carrots, stuff like that. Do you dust your crickets? My 4 seem to go nuts for only dusted crickets. If they are not dusted, they just turn the other way. Maybe because they look so bright white? Just try different things, see what they like and dislike. And what do you mean by 'liking the cold'? Maybe he's just not warm enough to want to eat?

Her cage stays at around 100...she is always ALWAYS on the cold side or hiding ive switched things up and nothing seems to help...
I buy tones of different veggies tried everything :/
The only live food she will eat is locust she refuses to eat anything else :/ .....talk about picky..... :roll:
Im not really sure what else to do ....

Did you try changing her basking light? It might be holding temps well but something else about it could be bothering her. Make sure it's at the right distance from her too. Also, what UVB light are you using? Does it span the cage or is it on the warm side? Maybe she's trying to get away from it because it hurts her eyes and/or is too powerful. As for live feeders, which worms have you tried? My beardie is very picky but he loves worms of all shapes and sizes, especially superworms :wink: Just a few suggestions. Good luck to you.

The temps are controlled by the ceramic heat lamp and the bulb just to create light...
I have an Arcadia UV.... so no problems there...
Gone completely off worms... she used to eat all types... i bought her some silks and butter worms and she wasn't having any of it :/
A couple of months ago her appetite was great! but it just took a sudden turn for the worst :?

Do you bath her?Maybe try lowering the temps to 98 some beardies do not like it hot as they get older....i use a 40 watt household buld and Malibu is about 12 inches from it her log goes at an angle beneath it so she can get hotter or cooler.
How old is your uvb?

4 months old, i bath her every 2 days...
ive had a go at lowering the temps before it seemed to have no affect... ill have another try
I guess she`s just adjusted to the temps in england..... cold and rainey :lol:
