slightly sunken/saggy eyes, less than usual movement.

Hello, as you know I am paranoid about my beardies health. I know it's winter and movement slows down along with eating and bowel movements... but for the past 2 days my beardie Pete has not left his log cave or ate that I can tell.. which normally I wouldn't get too worried over because he is having bowel movements and is maintaining a healthy weight. and today 48 hours from when this started he seems to have sunken eyes that are baggy. I say sunken because when they move they are very "loose" and I have never seen him this lazy before. he usually always comes out to eat some and fall asleep under the lamp but not for the past 2 days.

His diet consists of water, butterworms, collard greens, and reptile bites.

We are having a blizzard and his basking area is only about 100 degrees at the moment. I try to keep the house at 72 but it's difficult. (drafty house) I am using a 150 watt bulb and the reptisun 10.0 UVB bulb. It is extremely dry in my house I do use a humidifier. Should I consider bathing more than once a week? any advice is VERY appreciated. Thanks

you can see under his eye its a little "loose" it's the same on the other side.

Hello,

He sure is a cutie pie!
It is possible he could be a bit dehydrated if he is somewhat brumating a little bit.
Have you tried giving oral fluids instead of bathing? If he is partially brumating, a weekly bath is fine but you could give oral fluids also to help out.
What is he eating right now?

Since I gave him a bath last night he has been up and about this morning which is nice. He has yet to go near his food... how would I give him oral fluids? I am down to try anything though Thanks!

Hello,

You can use either a plastic dropper or syringe to get oral fluids into him by dropping it onto his nose if he will take it that way.
That is good he was up & around today! Did he bask for very long?

Yes, he also ate quite a bit. I am trying something. It seems if I sort of encourage him to wake up he will and he will bask/eat.... otherwise he will just sleep. Also thanks for the oral syringe advice that seems like a good idea I had to do that to guinea pigs when they would sometimes need medicine.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
