My bearded dragon Big Mack has some strange sleeping habits, not sure if they are normal" weird" though.. I know most beardies sleep standing against glass or whatnot but my guy goes to sleep in a normal position, but during the night he raises his head. It's like he is awake..but he is clearly not. He isn't - stargazing- persay, his head doesn't go that far. Just like he is awake and chilling..at midnight with his eyes closed. As a baby he would do similar weird things in his sleep. Head bobbing gently like he was sleep talking. He also sometimes inflates his body during the night. He doesn't do it every night, but when he does do this it really puzzles me. I have heard that some beardies wake up cuz of lights or sounds in the room, and is it possible his sleep sitting is him being half aware and half asleep? When he does this it's usually when I have him on my shoulder at night checking my email.
