Sleeping Vertical

I'm not sure if this is common, it seems like it could be, or it could just be Hermes being Hermes. The first day I got my baby, I put him down for the night in the cave under his basking spot, and when I woke up in the morning, I found him clinging to the vertical wall that holds up his basking platform. I thought it was very strange, but he didn't do it again. But there have been a few nights that I have not been home at lights-out to tuck him in, and each time I have come home to him clinging to the piece of fabric I have to cover the glass on the back of his basking platform. There have also been mornings where I have found him on top of his mound of blankets with his chin at a 90degree angle against the glass.

Do beardies like to sleep vertically?
If so, what can I do to his bed to make him more comfortable if he does like sleeping vertically? (right now I just have a soft towel and a t-shirt that I fold and place so that he is at least sleeping at an incline)

I have repti-vines in my enclosure. For the first few months, my girl climbed up into the vines and hid very well. She basically slept in a "chin up" positions with her hind legs dangling. It was a fun game to try to find her when she went to sleep. If you consider the dangers of sleeping on the ground in the wild, it makes sense to find a slightly safer spot off the ground, fewer night predators to stumble across you on branch that will only hold her tiny weight.

my baby likes to sleep vertical also, the thing I am wondering about is the blanket or t shirt, should I have something like that in the beardies home. This is the first time I have read this... I'm new to owning a baby BD. Mine is most likely 8 weeks old now... Yaya :)

You can do that if you want to, a lot of people think that putting a tshirt of yours into your baby beardie's tank can help it warm up to you, so it can get used to your smell even when you're not right there :) beardies often like soft things to snuggle in, too :)

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
