So my beardie is probably about 4 months on and she is growing strong! But today i noticed that when i got home from work, she was still sleeping in the corner of her tank. it alarmed me because i would normally see her basking and then when the lights go out then she would go to bed. I use a 150W basking bulb and temps get up to about 90 degrees , and i use a UVB light that is 10.0 but it’s one of the spiral ones. she is also in a 55 gallon tank. i’m purchasing a fluorescent tube this week so it stretches along her tank. Just today she hasn’t been herself and i didn’t feed her besides the greens i gave her because i think it’s because i fed her too much yesterday. ugh i am so worried. it also looks like she is getting ready to shed. not sure if this was bad or not but i did move her to her basking spot and she sat there for awhile and looked alert and healthy. i was thinking burmation maybe as well but this young?? does that happen?

Hi. She's to young to brumate. How are you taking the temps? How big is the enclosure?
I have a thermometer in the middle of the tank , and it’s a 55 gallon!

Thanks for answering. What kind of thermometer? If it's around stick on or any other stick on those are very inaccurate. You want a temp gun to know the temps on the basking spot. Also once you get the proper uvb she'll more than likely perk up.

Hello,

Yes, the Reptisun 10 tube bulb is a great bulb. Be sure to mount it underneath of the screen
at a 6-8 inch distance for maximum UVB exposure.
Is your thermometer the digital type, with a probe at the end to measure temperatures?
It isn't unusual for them to slow down some, but at her age, she wont really fully bromate
though.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
