slate tile?

it'll probably be quite a while before I get my beardie, but am doing research now. I was wondering, since everyone recommends tile for the substrate, would this tile be good? http://low.es/Vq7DQc if so, what would I use to cut it down? I'm also looking at getting an enclosure from customcages.com, their beardie enclosure is 4x2x2, I doubt that's the inside measurements so I'd need to either be able to trim the above tiles down or find something that would fit without trimming. Any and all input would be greatly appreciated

Those tiles would be perfect! Most people go to a home improvement store to get them cut. My exoterra for my Leo is 18"W x 24"L. I cut the tile to 17"W x 23"L. The tiles fit tight! Very tight! You wouldn't think you'd have to take that much off, but 1" is my rule of thumb :wink:

Those are the exact tiles I got for my tank. I just had Lowes cut them for me.
