Skittle and age

Hi I have had skittle now for about 4 months now and when she was a baby she loved to snuggle now she gets jumpy and crawls away from me and when i hold her she squirms out of my hands. My question is ... Is this a normal process they go through and then settle down again when older? And also how do I keep her tame during this time even though she is like this ??/ ty

Well, I have a 4 month old beardie and she is a handful! She jumps and runs, but sometimes cuddles. The older guys I have are much more calm, but can be feisty when they want to! Lol. From what I have read, beardies are more active and hyper when younger but they will calm down. Maybe you can just let her explore in a beardie friendly area. She might also be going through a shed which is making her act different. I don't know, just an idea.
