Skip a day?

Hi Everyone,

Looking for advice....I'm going out of town for a day and a half. Will my beardie be OK without food?

He's nine months old, currently 16" long. He eats 35 reptiworms in the morning, greens/veg, then as many crix as he can eat in 10 minutes 2 hours before lights out. He typically eats 20-25.

Can I leave him a bowl of worms and extra greens when I leave on Friday to return on Monday? Looking for honest opinions, I don't want him to suffer.

Whoops, I meant leaving Friday, returning SUNDAY.

It becomes easier when they are adults, but I've left for a weekend plenty of times without a problem. Just give him a big meal on Friday AM, leave a bowl of the worms and a nice salad as you said, and then give him a nice meal when you get back on Sunday (or Monday AM depending on how late you get back). Shouldn't be a problem. Adults don't need to eat as often so it's easy to give them a nice big salad to pick at and let them do their thing for a few days.
