Skin Coloration (or discoloration maybe?)

See how she is basically 2 different shades thruout?

Tail - the bright portion isn't just bright because it's above water, it's how it's colored .. the last 4 inches of her tail are extremely dark, that one spot is bright and the rest is sort of pale
Body - generally the same color
L Hindlimb - Upper bright, lower dark
R Hindlimb - All bright

i don't know if i should be concerned or not? any ideas or suggestions?

Is she shedding at all in those discolored areas?

nope .. not at all .. i thought she was but upon closer investigation she's not .. her skins just (basically) 2 different extremes of color

its really hard to see your beardies colors correctly. The lighting is dim and the photograph is out of focus. Perhaps you could use the basking light over him while you take the photo for more light? And zoom in more?

the cam on my phone sux sorry .. i'll try again when i get home but honestly that pic, although dim and slightly out of focus, does accurately show the discoloration .. but i'll be more than happy to take another pic

hmm well for me I cant see it at all. looks like it could be a shadow or reflection from the water.
