Skeeter's thread (Very Pic Heavy! :)

I'm sorry I haven't been around lately. Good thing I have pics to make up for it!

He loves his bath time. Now he's getting used to it and swimming instead of acting like a cat getting a bath.

He loves to throw his weight around.

I made a tray for him so he can eat his crix but they can't hide on him or eat him in the night

Sometimes mine will get bored and want different feeders, but other than that I don't know.

Actually he's been doing better. Its been really cold up here so his temps aren't normal. I added a basking spotlight pointed at his basking spot and that brought temps back to where they are supposed to be. He's been more active and interested in feeders now. I always heard from you guys about hunger strikes. I think that had something to do with it too. Thanks alot!

Little late but he started and finished his first body shed on christmas day! pics of the whole thing for you guys of course!
Early christmas morning-

It's starting!!!

wow where did all that come from. MUST RESIST PULLING OFF!

You can't really tell from the last one but if you look at the 1st pic he's starting to get some red in him on his "shoulders"!!!!!

How is your little guy doing? Is he eating? Have you tried offering any other feeders? Mine get bored so I have to rotate from crix, dubia, turks...Looking forward to post-shed pics! :wink:

Yup same here, except instead of Dubia hornworms, butters and silks! Once a month or so she'll eat a super!

He's doing fine. It seems maybe I made it too easy for me. I took his tray of crickets away and dropped crickets in for him. He ate them right up, but now that makes it a lot harder on me. Now I will have to wake up even earlier before school to feed him instead of just putting in the tray. Maybe I'll try the tray again later.

I thought it was quick and easy for both of us. To tell you the truth, I know alot of people hate the shedding time, but I like it, its like a present, you unwrap it and I love to see what I get, new colors wise.
