Size??

At what age is a beardie "fullgrown"?
I read in the area of 10-12 months, which I must say has me a little concerned. Snizzard is approx. 9 months old (he was a rescue) and he's only about 11 inches long! He's definitely filled out in the last while since I got him, but what are the chance of my having the big hefty lizard like my coworker has?
They're no concern for his health if he stays tiny right?

Snizzard probably won't be a very long beardie. As most(not all) of their growning in length is done in the first 6 to 9 months. However he will continue to put on girth for a few years or more. I would say that hefty isn't out of the question, but don't expect big/long.

Being tiny will not affect his health however the reason for being tiny could have something to do with his health.

All you can really hope for is a healthy beardie. :wink:

I figured as much. When he came to us I was worried he wouldn't even make it. He was scrawny, barely moved, wouldn't eat and was completely black from stress. He still hasn't got much use of his back legs but, he's happy and healthy now.
