SIZE OF VIV/LIGHTING

I have a leopard gecko cage which is about half the size of what a bearded dragon cages need to be, would it suitable to put a baby beardie into one until it grows a little bigger. If I can, how can I get the light fitting to suit the cage, because it only has two sockets, and the beardie needs loads more!

That size cage should be fine for a baby but the lid will probably have to be replaced with a screen top. Then just position new fixtures on the screen lid.

you will need basically two bulbs

one ReptiSun 10.0 UV bulb that spans the lengthwise in/on the viv (doesnt have to be the entire length of the viv) if you can, mount it on the inside so your beardie gets the max output of UVA/UVB. Ig you cant right now, then get a ReptiSun Hood with a ReptiSun bulb and place it directly on the screen (its safe, they do not put out alot of heat)

one basking bulb (can be a household bulb) .... whatever wattage that gives you the correct basking temps (100 - 110)
cool side 80 -85

get you a nice digital thermometer (they arent too expensive) with a probe and get your temp readings that way.
