Size differences within same clutch?

I have 2 dragons that were from the same clutch, they are now 8 months old and one is half the size of the other. I've seen on here that some dragons just grow at different rates, but is this still true within the same clutch group?

Anyone else have this happen?

It common. I am finding that 3 to 4 babys to a bin will yield equal growth for the most part but theres alway 1 or 2 that are drasticly diff in size.

Yes it's quite common, more evident in young babies when competing for food.

But these aren't babies, they're 8 months old. One is 8 inches and one is 15.

I had 5 month old poopers with sim size differences. At one point the smaller will have a growth spurt and catch up. It can happen anytime withing a year to year and a half.

It's very common for variation of maturity rates and size differences within a clutch of dragons. I agree that some slow developers can get a nice spurt of growth, that being said some are just runts, not dwarfs, just runts.

If they are housed together there could be dominance issues with food, basking position, or even an effect of stress on the growth hormones of the smaller dragon.

Okay, thanks everyone, I'm feeling a little better about it now. Hopefully she'll catch up in size. I was just worried something was really wrong with her.

Also, they are not housed together
