Silly Haru

Surprised I haven't made one of these yet! Anywho Haru's about 6 months now and I figured I'd post pictures from when we first got her to now in the this post.

Haru was underweight when we first got her due to dehydration. This is one of the first pictures we took of her. I don't even really remember her being that tiny.

This one's my profile picture and I love her cute little face in it.

Haru enjoying the rock my fiance made her. Sadly the rock broke due to him dropping it while taking it out of the enclosure for something.

This is from a few days ago. I took her out before bedtime and she just loves hiding under pillows for some reason. If it wasn't for my issues with her hiding, I'd make her one for her enclosure. Also her beard is getting so spiky now!

I realize that most of the ones I've posted are taken in her enclosure. I need to get better ones of her outside the enclosure-- usually I'm so preoccupied with keeping an eye on her that I don't think to take pictures until she's slowed down. She runs around everywhere. I wish I could have gotten video of the other day when I had her on my bed and I was on the floor looking for something. She kept following me around in hopes of exploring the floor, it was super cute. Sadly I couldn't let her do it due to the rest of my bedroom being super messy. I'd also love to get some good outdoor ones of her, but the humidity has been at like 55-60% lately so I can't take her outdoors. :C Ugh.

It really is! I knew they grew fast, but I didn't know exactly how fast. I've almost had him 4 months and he's already about 15 inches in length. Which I assume is good for his age? I'm not 100% sure. I also wish I had photographed him more frequently to document his growth. Granted these aren't ALL the photos I have, just the ones I really like.

Yeah that's a fine length for his age especially. He's actually a pretty big boy at 4-5 months!

I'm guesstimating he may be closer to the 5 1/2 to 6 month range, but he could be younger too. I'm not sure how old he was when we got him since we got him from a pet store.

They're usually a month or so at the pet store (broad generalization). It's hard to be sure.

Updated this in one of my other threads, but recently after a vet check up I found out that Haru is a girl! Guess I'd better edit the first post on here, haha. Also it looks like she's missing a toe in the picture, but she just has it awkwardly tucked underneath another toe for some reason.

So I may or may not have put Haru on one of my stuffed animals for photo purposes... She didn't seem to mind.

Haru did the cutest thing today and I'm sad I didn't have my phone on me. I had her out and on my bed and she was chomping down on some greens I laid out for her. Well I laid down with my head on my pillow and my hand propped underneath said pillow. She turned around all dramatically, ran over to my face, climbed up on my hand to get to my shoulder and cuddled up near my chin. It was too cute. She does similar things a lot, but usually she just cuddles next to me when I lay down instead of climbing on me to cuddle.

I love her to death. She's too freaking cute. I'm so sad I didn't get pictures of it.
