hi everyone , been a little bit since i posted anything about irwin or cooper , been a wild month for sure but looking for a great start to 09. any way have been noticing for awhile that irwin is quite an arm waver , thought about renaming him/her mr or mrs roboto. but last night was the total surprise , first time i had seen this and wish i had grabbed the camera and gotten it . picture baby dragon , cute loveable and sweet in 20 gallon tank , yep got moved up for Christmas , basking log , little baby dragon balancing on tail , tummy against log and then both arms start going . looked like irwin was swimming or something , it was just so cute . oh so mad at not getting to the camera in time . if it happens again i am going to try and be ready for it .

Awww!
I feel your pain about not getting to a camera quick enough.
I keep trying to catch Ruben whilst he's scurrying around to show the forums how he gets around when he's completely missing an arm and a leg on one side but im always a second too late and he stops moving!
Bah.
We'll get them one day!

I got a great visual of Irwin swimming.
They are really no different than children. The minute you want them to perform....they prove you stupid once more.

oh yes how true that is and so typical of my zoo , as soon as one of them do something i have to grab the camera for they stop , so guess irwin figures it is only the right thing to do too , but one day wait and see .

oh my goodness , that is to priceless , no actually he /she was more i guess using the basking log to rest the tummy against and sitting up more and then next thing you know both arms are going , guess thinking back maybe swimming should have been replaced with surfing??? haven't caught irwin at it yet though but the little stinker wouldn't go to bed last night for nothing , New Yeasrs eve yeah right on time slept through , last night nope finally fell asleepin the corner and the good mommy put irwin to bed , woke up long enough to snuggle in to my hand before i put him/her in the blankie . :D

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
