Silkworms-help with feeding!

Hello all! I ordered some silkworms from Mulberry farms last week, and they are coming in the mail today. I just realized that I didn't order any silkworm chow or food with them (I know, duh!) I don't know if they will last the time it will take for me to order food from Mulberry farms, considering tomorrow is Thanksgiving, it would probably be next week before I got my order.

I will be looking around for unsuspecting mulberry trees who's leaves I can pilfer, but seeing as it's november, they may have all fallen by now. My dad is a landscaper and he told me they don't usually sell mulberry trees in nurseries, but I may check anyways. The only sites I've seen that sell silkworms and supplies for them are in Cali

Anyone have any suggestions?

you should call the people you bought them from and see what they sugest.. it wont take long to get food. i get mine quite quickly. I am sure they can live a few days plus they come with food in the containers. if i remember back when i first started to order mine there was a huge layer of food on the bottom. youll be ok

Thanks guys! It turns out there was food in there, but I didn't order the cups. I guess they give them enough to last for a little while.

Now if I can only get my baby beardie to eat them :x He is much more interested in crickets....
