I ordered silkies for breeding and I am really nervous about this because I have never done anything like this before. Anyone have any advise on what I need to do? I ordered eggs for breeding and I also ordered 400 medium silkies to feed Samson while I am breeding. What is the best storage option for the worms and eggs? Do I need to put the eggs under lights or anything? I live in Florida and it is pretty warm here. I keep my house at a constant 76 degrees F. Is that a good temp for the silkies? Any advise would be helpful :)

I was interested in breeding silkies too, but I heard they have to be subjected to winter so I think you have to put them in the fridge for a couple days and ithink there fine around 76 degrees and once there out of the fridge I heard to speed up the hatching put them in the sun though the window but that's all I know so double check my info.

Oh, ok, glad you clarified that. I just found this info on the Mulberry farms website in case anyone needs to know.
Can the eggs be refrigerated to delay hatching?
Silkworm eggs should not be refrigerated unless they are shipped using Overnight delivery with an ice pack and styrofoam box (extra) and then placed immediately into your refrigerator and maintained between 35 to 37 degrees Fahrenheit - and 70 to 80% humidity. Then they can be stored in your refrigerator for over 1 month and they will hatch about 8 to 10 days after removal (if maintained at around 80 degrees).

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
