Silkback Raw Skin, Too-early Shed

Here is a pic of her eye I got yesterday.

Also when they tried to give her a bath today she didn't take, she rolled around until they pulled her out. Does the silver cream need to be washed off?

Poor girl. Her eyes don't look too bad, but a little sunken in. Silkbacks have trouble with hydration, that is for sure.
Just have them continue giving baths, hopefully that will help out for her. Keep us posted on her.

That vet should lose his license, I agree with Esther. That is horrible that he did that.

I was just informed that Blaze passed away today around noon or noon thirty... She was just too weak. It's very sad, she was only six months old and had been doing so well.

They want me to tell everyone here thank you for all the help and advice. I'm not sure what they plan to do, or IF they can even do something against the vet but I told them they ought to try.

Oh, no , I too send along my sympathy to the poor owner ! Please tell them to advise this vet that he needs to learn that you NEVER peel skin/scales, even from a normal scaled reptile ! What a tragedy, tell that vet to Google that info....I feel that if that vet did indeed pull the skin off he/she is directly responsible for the death. So, so sad !!
