I've just sent an email to the Humane Society of Canada.

Edit: I just saw that you sent one to the SPCA Spikey. Hopefully one of them will be able to do something. I'll let you know if I hear anything.

Agreed, Werewolf :(

You know, I just want to butt in and say that this person's grammar is ridiculous. Plus, you can clearly see the sorrow in those dragons. Most dragon pictures I see, you can clearly see a wide smile (or happy eyes). But in those pictures the dragons look miserable.

I know you just wanna save all those poor little things and give them all love and a good life. But you should really not buy from those people.Once you pay they achieved their goal and made money so thell continue breeding and unfortunately you cant save them all.So please dont support that with buying from there.I know its hard and we all just wanna help these poor beardies. It would be different if you get them for free or something.

Yea Ive contacted SPCA .Ill let you guys know as soon as i get an answer.

Stuff like this disgusts me... :puke: I just want to cry for those little guys, especially the roughed up ones. I might message the person as well, just to give them a piece of my mind. Not that it would do any good, considering that everything goes in one ear and out the other with ****** like that. I hope this person never breeds their dragons again, and I hope to God's sake that the parent beardies are getting proper care... :banghead:

this is so terribly sad. I have a guy with mbd who has to walk on what would be his forearms and it infuriates me so much that his previous "owners" didn't take care of him. some people really are total *****s.

Thanks for all the feedback, guys. I wish the SPCA would so something but they don't exactly have that great of a track record around here. :/

After I emailed the SPCA they answered me back that everything must be reported to their toll free number.Awesome.Why did I write that long of a message then?
Idk if I find time until the weekend to call (its not that easy just because of the time difference ,my work etc) .Maybe somebody else can report it right quick.I really wanna help those poor things :(

The number is
1-877-722-1522

1.They dont get any UVB light.
2.The heat lamp is on 24 hours.
The temperature is probably way to high and I highly doubt they get baths.
3.Theyre in a small 10 gallon tank.All together!!
4.They only feed romaine lettuce which is not nutrious at all.Theyre starving and started nippling of each others feet.
All in all theyre just in terrible shape. After we contacted the owner we got very unfriendly messages back and he made it clear that he wont take our advices and that he "knows
how to take care of dragon".The truth is,he has no frigging idea!!!
Please stop them!!!Save the Dragons and stop them from breeding in the future!!!

The SPCA in the area is very slow to respond and most likely wont do anything because "it's just a lizard".

That's just so bad. I want to rescue them all and give them the home they deserve. I tried to contact SPCA, but it wouldn't let me. :( Is there a beardie rescuer on here?

There are many beardie rescuers here but unfortunately this is a very poor candidate situation for rescuing. As painful as it is, it's better to let all of them die than to give these people money. Because, as someone else said, giving them money only perpetuates the cycle. Better for this entire clutch to die, and to therefore be the LAST clutch the ******* ever breeds because it didn't make him or her enough money. -.-

Even though it would be difficult for me to accommodate them, I would take them all in a heartbeat and do my best to rehab and rehome them if I could. But there's just no way to do that in this case without simultaneously creating the same situation all over again by financing these jerks. If they would consent to give them up for free or for a heavy discount it might be different, but paying them for these guys will only guarantee that there will soon be another mutilated, starving, suffering clutch up for sale as "healthy". -.-

I revisted the add and she has taken down all pictures of the 'sick' babies. She now apparently only has 4 left to sell. Don't know if the poor little guys passed on or what. :(

Probably the jerks just realized that they can't possibly claim that mutilated, obviously miserable babies are in "perfect health". -.-

All I can say is that, while I hope that isn't true for the reasons I said before, at the very least, if it is, I hope they went to decent people who know how to take care of them. The poor little things.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
