Ok so everything is going well. However I'd like to make sure we're doing things right. How many times a week should we feed her? Right now we do every day but I want to make sure it's not too much.

Dragons need to be fed everyday a fresh salad older dragons feed a staple feeder 2-3:times per week babies up to a year or longer everyday salads and staple feeder dubia crickets bsfl -- a good diet of salads worms and staple feeder alongbw/ proper basking temps and good UVB will keep the reptile vet away

Awesome, that's what we've been doing so it sounds like we're doing well. Hornworms are good daily also, correct? For hydration

Yes but only like 1-2 --- they will change what the poop looks like sometimes a little runny because of the water plus excess water as well

Hey Kerrie,
Things are going GREAT thanks to your advice! We have been feeding a nice variety to Kayda and she's growing quickly and seems very happy. My question today is, we just got superworms. They look alot like meal worms, maybe they're the same things, I don't know, however, how often and how many should I feed her? I've read different things about how they can possibly cause impaction? Is this true? I just want to be sure we don't give her too many if this is the case. I want to be sure we are doing this properly. Thank you!

Meal worms and super worms are different - meal worms are harder for babies to digest because of the exoskeleton- I have fed mealworms to blaze a while back he must of been about 6 months I only fed him 1 at a time and mainly stuck w/ the supers 1-3 in the morning on his salads-- turns out he nor hiccup like mealworms- so I don't feed them-- too many mealworms can cause impaction--- we had one person's dragon choked to death it was a baby on mealworms- so a good variety of supers silk worms and butterworms when they are back in stock are good to feed along w/ their salads and staple feeder-- dubias and silk worms are great staple feeder s--
Google super worms and meal worms so you can see what they look like-

Hi there, sorry to hear about the first baby, they are so fragile at 4-5". Barely out of the egg. Sounds like Karrie got you sett up with good lighting now. :) One VERY important question, I saw that in one post you mentioned that the cool side in the first baby tank was 90 F. That is way too hot so be sure that in Kayda's tank the cool side is no more than 80. And please post pics of Kayda and of the superworms. In general, they are very much like mealworms, just bigger so it's best not to use them for baby beardies unless the worms are small and you only use a few at a time.

Thank you, I'll keep an eye on that. Here are some pictures. She was 6 1/2" when we got her, she is currently almost 9"!

Thank you! The pictures don't do her justice. She soooooo pretty. We got her at Petsmart. I'm not sure I can get that picture without her eating it lol! However, I can at least measure one.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
