Sick beardie acting strange

I have a 3 year old Bearded dragon who is a girl and we love her! Today, around 3 pm we noticed our beardie had a black beard, which she’s never gotten before. She’s also very pale in color. She’s usually only this pale when she sleeps. During the day she’s a dark brown in color. She ate a lot yesterday and pooped a huge Amt this morning and last night but it wasn’t runny or anything. Today, she drank a lot of fluids through a syringe and even her tounge appeared pale. Should I be freaking out. She’s never displayed a black beard or been pale under her sun light.

Now it’s later in the evening and the black beard is gone but she’s still very pale and not eating. Help.

Best thing to do is post a picture of the whole tank and kinda give run-down of the set-up so we can make sure everything is good there and try and narrow down what's up with your dragon.

Her set current set up:

This is her old set up with the t5 reptile bulb. Could changing to mercury reptile bulb be doing this?
Old set up:

I use a mercury ballasted 100 watt heat lamp on one side at 99 degrees and other side 73 and she has plenty of shade when she wants to cool down. She’s even more pale in color tonight. Almost white and lethargic. Black beard too. Sooo worried. She’s taken fluids but won’t eat

My dragon is 3 and she is paler then she’s ever been with a black beard. Does this mean she’s dying or severely sick. Could she be about to shed? Do they get a black beard only when dying or upset. She’s never had one before in 3 years and so pale.

Hmm I am really unsure! I'm sorry, i don't have personal experience with the mercury bulbs. I know that people are always recommending either the reptisun or the arcadia, so maybe it is a UVB issue, but I don't think this sounds like that.

Do you have a reputable reptile vet in the area that you could afford a visit to? You say she isn't eating, is she losing weight?
Pooping?
How is she basking?
Has she been digging at the ground or the walls of her tank?

I really have no clue but these questions can help the more experienced try to narrow down what is going on. And every time someone responds it bumps the post up to the top so hopefully someone with more experience can answer!

you noticed? Since her tongue is pale, it sounds like she is anemic. It
may indicate an internal problem going on.
Which brand of MVB are you using, the Megaray, or the Solar Glo? The
tube bulb, is that placed on the back wall or directly overhead?
Has she ever laid infertile eggs before? I am wondering if something
to that extent could be going on, or having some egg binding trouble.
Have you noticed whether or not she has tried to pass anything, but not
able to? It looks like she is definitely in distress, based on her coloring.
Do you have a vet you can get her into, for bloodwork?
Please let us know how she is doing.

I wish I would have gotten your messages in time. She died and it was a weekend and the reptile vet wasn’t available. I’m devastated. I loved her so much. I think she had eggs possibly. The regular vet who put her down said she had a mass in her stomach. He’s not her hero vet so ill never be sure. Thank you for the response.

She passed away. I couldn’t get her to a reptile vet and it was a weekend when she became ill. We lost her Monday morning. I am devastated. She had a lump in her belly when the regular vet put her down. Gosh, I loved her. Cried like a baby. Will always miss her.
