Should I use a heat pad?

So my dad bought me a heat pad-one that comes with a Thermostat, for Mr. Dragon, but I'm not sure if I should use it? I would never even consider using it during the day, even in winter its too freaking hot where I live and even hotter in my room. But it can get pretty cold during the night, so I want to be able to keep him warm at night but is it okay to use a heat pad? Is it best to put it underneath the tank or on the side of the tank? The coldest it gets at night here is like 65/70 F so should I even use it at all??

you don't need heat at night at all unless it gets below 65° or your dragon is sick

If you decide to use it,stick it on the back of the tank and all the way to one end (assuming your habitat is glass) beardies are not good with heat from the bottom.

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
