good evening, normally i tend to stick with the megaray line of mercury vapors, however some recent changes that i wanted to make to Rex's viv set up made that a little more difficult to achieve, as a result, i now wish to return to the tube fluorescents. don't get me wrong, bob mac has made a fantastic product, however the setup that I'm going to try for wouldn't let it work at optimum level. i say this so as to not deter anybody from buying from mega ray, but i digress.
anyway, i had purchased from ace hardware a 4 foot double light 40 watt shop light (pre-wired, i have neither the expertise or patience, plus who does'nt love a good fire hazard?) for about 12 dollars. quite a good price. now, as my local pet shop's do not carry reptisuns, one carries exclusively repti glo, and the other repti sun 5.0s at outrageous prices. no 10.0. my question is, has anyone experienced problems ordering such large fragile items? are they prone to breakage? lastly, which is a better place to order from, pet mountain or lllreptile?
