so i was concern about some retained shed on my beardies tail, he was really sensitive about the area and would twitch or jump if i touched it to hard, so i gave him a warm bath and started to brush the edge where the discolouration of residual shed started and about three scales of shed came off but underneath the scales look weirdly silvery and kind of shiny?
is that dangerous or bad? he doesn't react if i touch that part of his tail but he still jumps if i touch the other bits of affected area, is the shiny area normal for retained shed?
