She's trying ti get in his space. Help please....

Here it is, I think that Ozzy and Janis miss each other . I have 2 1.5 month old guys, one male one female, they have been together since very little. I had them in the same enclosure the all time, then I started seen a lot of arm waving, not aggression or stealing food ( they eat really well together), so I decided to separate them in order to avoid problems. I split the viv in two for now ( the viv is really big) with a piece of cardboard in the middle so they can't see each other and stress out. But "trouble..." started any way .
Janis ( the lady) is been trying to " jump the fence" and go see Ozzy ( so cute). They both don't eat as much like when they where together. What should I do; try to put them back together and keep a really good eye on them or just leave them like that. I just feel bad seen her jumping and trying to see him. one time she made it to Ozzy's side , they just set next to each other basking, she was a lot calmer. This is so weird. Did anybody had the same problem?
Man I feel like I am watching over two teenagers.

Well, you know what happens when two teenagers get together right? :wink: If I were you, I'd keep them separated. Otherwise they may breed too early or they may fight. Although they may get along now, it only takes one nasty bite to maim or even kill one of them. And being bred too young can be fatal for the female. Even if she survives, then you have a whole bunch of baby mouths to feed. Better safe than sorry!

Maybe you could make a window in the cardboard (small enough that they can't get their head stuck) so they could at least still see each other, but not be physically together.
