Shedding

My new beardie seems to be doing a full body shed or something. He is a baby. There is some skin on the side of his mouth and it is coming off. He usually hates baths but he seems to be very happy to take one today, he sat in it and even put his legs back and relaxed! I know sometimes during a full body shed they won't bask much or eat. Should I still try to feed him? He is not interested at all and only ate 3 crickets today. Is that okay? I dusted the ones I did give him with extra calcium because he hasn't been eating much.

His thighs looks kind of blurry, like it has a film over it. You can still see the colour but it looks kind of blurry, if that makes sense? Is it because his leg is going to shed? It isn't white or grey yet but I examined it closely and it looks like a thin layer of something on it. I'm new with this and just want to make sure he's okay :)

Bearded dragons usually do a full body shed, however they can do it in parts e.g. legs, then stomach, head etc. I'd keep trying to put him in the bath when he's shedding as it helps to loosen the skin, and helps with shedding a lot. I know my female prefers baths when she is shedding.

Depending upon the dragon, during shedding they can change behaviour slightly, or even go off their food. Keep trying to present food to him, and he'll know when he's hungry and not. After all he wont let himself starve.

The blurry leg, if you could show an image would be much better, but it sounds like it's going into shedding before it goes grey. I wouldn't worry about it too much!

A beardie that's about to shed will often begin to look "muted" and less detailed in the area. I've often noticed there's like a grey/white outline around the scales first.

The scales may look grey, white, or even waxy, and will often happen in patches, i.e tail, then limbs, then back, then head, etc, in succession but not specifically that order

Sounds like an upcoming shed to me. My girl has had a very strange shedding schedule since we got her in November. For the first two months, she didn't shed at all. About a month after her first shed, she shed each body part separately TWICE... like within three weeks. Fast forward another month, and it looks like she's about to shed again, full body this time. I don't think there's always a rhyme or reason to shedding. It just happens differently depending on how fast or slow your beardie grows.

His legs are darker brown than his body today so I'm assuming he is shedding. I gave him a 5-10 minute bath today and he seemed to enjoy it. I had to end it early because he pooped in it... He has been sitting near the colder side of the tank today. He ate one cricket today only, though. He is in a bad mood so I don't want to bother him too much :) He's still alert when awake but has spent most of the day napping in his little hut.

His legs are darker in person than on camera.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
