Hello I just got my first dragon a couple weeks ago. About 3 days ago the scales around the tip of his mouth turned white and has not gotten bigger or smaller. I am not sure if it is the start of a shed or what. The only change in his behaivior is the he will not touch he greens like he alway did before but is still going crazy over his live feeders. I hope i am just worring to much but thought i should ask incase it could be something else. My camera isn't good enough to get a real good pic to show it.

Yes, grey or white is a shed about to happen. You can help your dragon shed by offering a nice warm bath, totally supervised, water to his/her shoulders, something under to provide traction (washcloth or paper towel) water temps 90-100*F (baby water temps). You might have to hold your baby until it feels more confident, and keep it in the water for min 15 minutes, though you can go as long as a half hour. Just keep refreshing the warm water when it cools.
Bathing is also a great way to hydrate, and in young dragons a bath a day is fine though min a week is 3-4.
Hope this helps out !
Janie.
