Hello there,
Although Ive kept dragons for nearly a year Ive never actually done the whole shedding thing :roll:
Dex was an adult and never shed in the time we spent together.
Ruben was in full body shed when I brought him home, and a day later he started to peel.
So Ive never actually gone through the shedding process, from showing signs of shed to the actual shed.
Here is a picture of Ruben from yesterday.
His neck is very pale and his head is starting to turn in shade aswell.
If you look closely at his neck and beard you can see a greyish layer very faintly appearing.
So Im sure he's about to shed, my (longwinded!) question is how long does the process usually take from showing shed to shedding?
Days? One week? Weeks?
I really do have no idea.
Im already bathing him daily as he is suffering from digestive issues, although soaking his head isnt that easy (a tailwhip to the face made that point verrrry clear).
